I’m Seung Whan, a designer based in Atlanta, GA. I’m currently pursuing BFA Graphic Design at Savannah College of Art and Design.
I’m a graphic designer with a strong eye for composition and storytelling, combining design and photography to create visually engaging, concept-driven work. I focus on clarity, balance, and emotion—transforming simple ideas into meaningful visual experiences that connect design with the real world.
When I first applied to SCAD, my statement of purpose focused on exploring design as a way to communicate visually and to connect people across cultures. Since then, my journey has evolved through diverse coursework, critiques, and hands-on projects that have challenged me to refine my creativity and discipline. Experiences such as collaborating with classmates, building my portfolio, and balancing different design tools have shaped me into a more confident and strategic designer. Living and studying abroad has also expanded my perspective, making me more aware of global design practices and how cultural identity can influence creative work.
